Designer Lisa Perry paid homage to tennis as she experimented with an all-white Spring 2014 collection, presented during the flurry of fabric that is NYFW. She transformed her flagship store into a court for the event.
“I love tennis, and I love all white, and since I always do so much color I decided to try to do a complete — a little risky — but complete departure to see what all-white would look like.”
And when asked about her thoughts about the 2013 U.S. Open, Perry didn’t offer up a favorite player:
“I just love watching tennis. I do love the new young girls who are playing, however. Maybe I could get them in my dresses. Wouldn’t that be fun?”
Yes — that would be fun. Which players would look best in Perry’s clothes?
