do your part: donate to flood victims in southeast asia

14 inches of rain in six hours — that’s the amount of water that Typhoon Ketsana dumped onto Manila this past Saturday, leading to massive floods that have killed at least 200 and have displaced tens of thousands of others in the northern part of the Philippines.

You can do your part by contributing to the American Red Cross’ efforts to help out. (Vietnam is also in the path of the typhoon.)

Thank you for putting the word out. I am a big tennis fan (big Ana Ivanovic and Rafael Nadal fan) and fashion lover– and so I frequent your blog :-). But these things had to take a backseat this past week with the storm causing much devastation in our nation’s capital. I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time out to raise awareness and for caring. Kudos to you!
