Ivo Karlovic is the new King of Aces of tennis. At the China Open ATP Tournament, Ivo Karlovic managed to up his total to 10.247 aces and with that Karlovic dethroned fellow countryman Goran Ivanisevic record.
Despite all the cheers and praise Karlovic has received, the count isn’t entirely accurate. The ATP Tour didn’t start counting aces until 1991 and Ivanisevic career was in full swing by then.
