Former Wimbledon winner Marion Bartoli has started a chique jewelry line and it is a huge hit among the girls of the WTA. A lot of guests at the pre-Wimbledon party were sighted wearing an eponymous piece of jewelry.
“Jewelry was always a lucky charm to me,” says Marion Bartoli. “I wore a prayer bracelet with a J and an S on it for joy and serenity when I won; I would touch the bracelet for serenity before a big point.”
Her fellow tennis players are inspired by her jewelry and its’ positive affirmations such as Carpe diem, Courage, Faith, Strength, and Love.
“I like the idea of bracelets with some meaning,” says Elina Svitolina, who ranks in at number seventeen in the world, “and I really like the bracelet that comes with a ring attached; it feels modern.” Other fans include the striking identical twin sister act and rising stars Karolina and Kristyna Pliskova. So who is Bartoli most excited to see wearing her designs? “Serena [Williams],” she says referring to her 2013 rival at Wimbledon and Vogue’s April cover star. “She chose the Courage bracelet and tweeted about it before Roland Garros; she wore it and won!”
