For the first time in tournament history, the Miami Open, along with official casual apparel and footwear sponsor, Lacoste, is making trailblazing fashion news by offering a stylish tournament-branded collection in retail outlets prior to the tournament.
The collection will include sport polos, sport tees, windbreaker jackets and tracksuits, sport shorts, tennis skirts, track pants, visors, hats, socks and sweatbands. All apparel is fused with performance fabrics that are super lightweight and ultra-dry, with sports in mind. Garments include run-resistant ultra-dry pique knits and diamond-weave taffeta tracksuits. Using key Lacoste design details, such as piping and color-blocking, the collection finds the perfect way to infuse fitness and high-performance with fashion and style.
Lacoste will have two individual retail boutiques on-site at the Miami Open. The first retail space will be a 4,000 sq. ft. retail store where consumers can shop the new limited collection, tennis apparel and Lacoste’s lifestyle line. The second boutique will be a 200 sq. ft. space that will focus on Lacoste footwear.
The brand’s classic iconic polo will still be at the center of the collection. In functional sport fabrications, the polo comes in seasonal colors such as Etna Red, Volublis Lt Blue and Anemone purple with the prominent placement of the famous crocodile icon.
