The Wimbledon semifinals revealed no surprises. Andy Murray was outclassed by Roger Federer7-5, 7-5, 6-4. While Novak Djokovic defeated Richard Gasquet in straight sets as well 7-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Roger Federer’s comment on the eighth title the fans have been buzzing about:
“Doesn’t matter whether it’s No. 8 or No. 1,” Federer said, ”Wimbledon finals is always a big occasion.”
“Definitely one of the best matches I’ve played in my career,” Federer said, adding moments later: “One of my best serving days of my career, for sure.”

Andy Murray admits he was overpowered by Roger Federer:
”It felt like every point was getting finished with a winner,” Murray said.
“He served fantastic, apart from the first game where I had the chance there. I didn’t really have any opportunities. Then that puts pressure on you as the set goes on,” Murray said.
“I don’t know if he’s close to his peak. You’ll have to ask him. But that’s definitely the best he served against me.
“To be honest, he clearly deserved to win the match. He had more opportunities than me.”

Djokovic calls Roger Federer: “the greatest player of all time on grass courts, and maybe greatest player of all time.”
Federer made Djokovic a better player:
“He’s one of the people that actually made me a better player,” Djokovic said after reaching the Wimbledon 2015 final.
“In the matches against him, I went through a lot of different emotions and things that allowed me to understand what I need to do to become a better player and to win against him and win grand slam trophies.”
