US Open to recognize ‘art courts’ projects creators on Sunday

Several of the artists who created iconic tennis court designs as part of the US Open, USTA Foundation and Chase ‘Art Courts’ project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the US Open will be recognized inside Arthur Ashe Stadium during Sunday’s day session, with the below video of each court project’s transformation playing on the big screen.

The Xylene Project from Cincinnati, who painted the Losantiville Triangle Tennis Courts, and Sen2 Figueroa & James Sexer Rodriguez — Bronx-based artists who painted Highland Park in Brooklyn — will be in attendance and available to media upon request.
