Congrats to Justine Henin for taking her second U.S. Open title (her first came in 2003) by beating Svetlana Kuznetsova — the 2004 U.S. Open champ — 6-1, 6-3.
Henin wore her ho-hum orange adidas separates, and Kuznetsova wore the same outfit from Fila that she’s been sporting all week.
We did notice a few more things this time around: Kuznetsova has a necklace with an “S” in cursive lettering, and her bandana was personalized with a monogram.
I love these little touches that make the ensemble hers. (Do you agree? Tell us!)
Bonus round: In case you’re wondering, that Mary Cohr badge on her red tank is from sponsor Baronesse Cosmetiques, whose stable includes Sveta, Thomas Johansson, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Paul Capdeville, and Tamira Paszek.

I will take big “S” over cornrows any day.
And Saturday was the first time I saw her play all week. (I don’t have cable…)

How did you fail to notice her necklace before? That tacky S dangling between her boobs for two weeks has been driving me crazy!
