who needs wags? tsf has your habs right here

Husbands And Boyfriends, that is. With all the love for the Wives And Girlfriends out there, we figured it was about darn time to make sure that this game of payment equality was also about equality in and about the scouring of the player boxes for attractive looking people – of both sexes. Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the HABs of the 2010 US Open.

We’re leading off the pack with a known entity: Tomas Berdych. You can find Berdych in the corner for longtime-GF Lucie Safarova. Both are Czech. Both are beautiful.

WTA looker Dominika Cibulkova - herself included in Urban Daddy’s list – has tattooed fella Miso Navara giving her thumbs up during her matches.

Are these two still together?! Mladjan Janovic with Jelena Jankovic. What a household the Janovic-Jankovic home would be, no?

More BAHs after the cut. (It’s worth the click.)

golovin a goner?

golovin-08

TSF has learned that former French star and Lacoste-wearer Tatiana Golovin‘s career might be on the outs — for good. Golovin struggled with injury throughout her short career, but a bad back has seemingly put her on the sideline indefinitely.

Two weeks ago she spoke with the French pub L’Equipe: “Learning my condition was a big shock, but now I know what I have and what I have, you can’t cure. Do I have any chance to play again? It’s not advised, but I’m still young. The pain may suddenly disappear.”

Her injury is spondylitis of the back,  a long-term disease that causes inflammation of the joints between the spinal bones and the joints between the spine and the pelvis.

TSF spoke with an acquittance of Golovin’s coach, who said that she was practicing for a bit in the recent past, but still experiencing heavy pain in her back.

Golovin was ranked as high as number 12 in the world in 2008, but stopped playing in May of that year due to her injury. She owns two WTA Tour titles.

Another Frenchwoman, Alize Cornet, will carry on the Lacoste tradition.

sports illustrated’s 2009 swimsuit issue

SEWTA bombshells Daniela Hantuchova, Maria Kirilenko, and Tatiana Golovin appear in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Joining them in the magazine is Brookly Decker, Andy Roddick‘s fiancee.

The three tennis ladies were photographed by Walter Iooss in Cap Cana, Juanillo, Dominican Republic.

Here are the pics — a million times better than the non-HD preview we posted two days ago:

Among many costume changes for Dani was this pink number from V del Sol.

“Being a part of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue was a unique experience that gave me a rare and fun opportunity to let the people see me in a different light, away from the tennis court,” Hantuchova commented to the SEWTA website.

Meanwhile, Maria was shot wearing this print bikini from adidas by Stella McCartney.

From Kirilenko’s site: “I have very good memories of the photo shooting for Sports Illustrated. I went to Dominican Republic with my mother. I was there for three days and I had a great time ! All days on the beach posing I can tell I was busy all the days but it was so nice ! A great team worked with me. The great photographer Walter Iooss, I think it is a greatest photographer I ever work with.”

Tati looked comfortable (has she recovered from her injury?) in this Rachel Pappo suit.

“It is such an honor to be a part of the Swimsuit issue and while I have done lots of photo shoots in my career, none of them can compare to the fantastic atmosphere of this shoot and the positive energy of the crew,” Golovin said on the tour site. “It was a fantastic experience that will stay with me for a long time.”

breaking out: tati, dani, and makiri in si’s 2009 swimsuit issue

While they might not have any major titles among them (one or two Tier I’s, at most), the blonde tennis trifecta of Maria Kirilenko, Dani Hantuchova, and Tatiana Golovin has the distinction of being included in Sports Illustrated‘s 2009 Swimsuit Issue. They’ll join Andy Roddick‘s fiancee Brooklyn Decker, along with a long list of scantily clad babes.

A sneak peek of the issue aired on CBS Sunday Morning (who was the target demo?), spun as a profile on legendary photographer Walter Iooss, who shot the trio for the magazine.

And on tonight’s episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, the magazine will announce the cover girl.

shade yourself!

The current lot of Lacoste sunglasses leaves something to be desired (aviators: yawn), but if you feel like browsing — and seeing how they look on Andy Roddick and Tati Golovin — see the interactive site here.

I’m still lusting over the chunky sporty shades the French tennis brand released last year; particularly the model LA12602 (above).

You can find them in a few places (and in a few colorways).

Brown/Orange/Black at Amazon.com, $89.95; Grey/Green/White at Amazon.com, $89.95; Brown/White/Red, sold out.
