The latest lookbook for oki-ni, styled by Mark McMahon, shows off lots of outerwear in a range of textures — cords, wool, and neoprene (!) — paired with clashing prints and colors. (We’re all about it these days.) Sadly, the garments are too thick for our blood and for SoCal winters, so we’ll enjoy it from the comfort of our computer.

Save for a few June-gloomy days (that’s one of our “seasons” here in Los Angeles), we’ve had a chance to whip out our spring wardrobe, which consist mostly of preppy pieces and bright solids from head to toe. Which is why we love French fashion label Kitsuné‘s interpretation of the stock at oki-ni in creating this lookbook — including product from Billionaire Boys Club, Porter, Comme des Garcons SHIRT, and Kitsuné itself.

oki-ni x fred perry = little big action man

oki-ni - fred perry - limited collection

London-based fashion outfit oki-ni became the latest Fred Perry collaborator with their Little Big Action Man collection.

The inspiration for this limited-edition line came when a Fred Perry designer “unearthed a vintage Fred Perry t-shirt … for an Action Man!” The vintage piece was then “supersized” for 2007. Key details include oversized collar and cuffs, thicker tipping, large press stud fastenings and a heavier knitted pique styled in a slim-fit silhouette.

The polo shirt, track jacket, and a cable-knit v-neck sweater all come in snow white and tartan green (and include the company’s laurel on the left breast).

Buy: Available at oki-ni.
