fred perry x amy winehouse, part 2

Fred Perry and Amy Winehouse have come up with their second collaboration. The new additions to the list (joining the return of the halter dresses and the gingham) are some tie-up bowling shirts (wha?) and a hawaiian print. This pattern’s our fave, and appears on a silk scarf, on the collar of a track jacket, and as a mandarin collar polo and a short-sleeved button-up. The print’s also used for a barrel bag (pictured above).

Will a Brit fit? Pink and black will dominate the 17-piece line to be released this fall from Fred Perry in collaboration with Amy Winehouse. From the press release: “a girly twinset has Fifties sex siren written all over it, gingham goes from homely to hot, pencil skirts become dangerously short, Capri pants find a punk-inspired edge, a mini bowling shirtdress flaunts in equal measure.” While we know this isn’t performancewear, wouldn’t it be fun to see one of the ladies wear this on the court? (Robson? Baltacha?)

Preview: The musician will be modeling the clothes in the November issue of British Glamour. The sketches are available here. We’ll post when the items are for sale on the FP site.
