Feliciano Lopez came into the 2010 US Open with a seesaw North American hardcourt record: he reached the semis at the Farmers Classic in L.A. (in style, of course) and followed that up with back-to-back first-round losses in Toronto in Cincinnati. Perhaps he just peaked too early? He rebounded in New York, making it to the fourth round before running into the Nadal juggernaut.
And along the way, Feli showed off a simple Joma Sport shirt that played with thick, asymmetrical lines across the chest (and shooting down the left arm).
Meanwhile, Juan Carlos Ferrero, who came into the Open fresh from a title in Umag (though on clay), lost in the third round to Jurgen Melzer. Ferrero went with v-necks peppered with graphics across the clavicle and shoulder.
