A quick look at the practice shirts Roger Federer‘s sporting for these two weeks at the Open. Gone are the Beijing 2008 tees from Cincinnati — his campaign sorta fell flat, after all — replaced instead with a mix of old, new (from Nike’s NSW line), and current (the NYC 2008 line).
See the rest: What he’s worn in New York so far after the cut:
These first four shirts are all solid tees. Blue one has a pocket on the chest and the grey one has a gold “RF” monogram.
This paint drip tee is similar to the ones currently sold through Nike iD.
The monogram is again highlighted in this black tee with horizontal chest detail.
This tee is from the company’s recently launched NSW (that’s “Nike Sportswear”) line. They opened a store in SoHo, with the likes of Serena and Roger in attendance, and the Hollywood pop-up store, open through October 31, 2008, resides in the historic Ricardo Montalban Theater on Vine.
Buy: Nike Pinnacle Men’s Standard T-Shirt in Berry, $45, at NSW stores.
The emperor has new clothes.
The swirls of the Sunburst OLY Men’s Shirt (from Monte Carlo) come back for another appearance.
Buy: OLY shirt — in red, green berry, varsity red, white, grey, purple, yellow — $45, at NSW stores.
As does this new tee (similar to the Colab shirt that he wore to Indian Wells earlier in the year).
And this NYC Tennis shirt, part of the line Nike launched as an homage to this final major of the year. A post about that to come.
