Maria Sharapova‘s latest Grand Slam earrings — part of her partnership with Tiffany & Co. — come in the form of a design by Frank Gehry. A party in honor of the piece’s debut happened on Wednesday night at the penthouse of the Cooper Square Hotel. Blake Lively showed up, and Maria brought out a birthday cake in honor of the Gossip Girl‘s birthday.
TSF stopped by the U.S. Open practice courts yesterday and spotted Janko Tipsarevic hitting with Victor Troicki and alongside Marat Safin.
Janko’s in the same quarter of the draw as Nole, Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Haas, and Andy Roddick; he faces Florent Serra in the first round.
Are those Oakley Jawbones?
More: Two other shots after the cut…
(Edit: TSF has since found out that this gentleman is Travis Rettenmaier. Thanks to all the readers who helped us with IDing the fella.)
Lots o’ rain today (thanks, Danny), so we are planting our cabooses at our friend’s Brooklyn apartment to stay dry.
In the meantime, do any of you know who this guy is? He was practicing with Robby Ginepri on the grounds of the USTABJKNTC yesterday (this, of course, in preparation for the 2009 U.S. Open, which starts next week).
Need more help? We’ve got a few more pics after the cut…
TSF stopped by last night’s K-Swiss “Play Nice” party at the Skyline Gallery. They had a fashion show featuring the Spring/Summer 2010 California Sports Collection.
We took photos of our favorite looks. See ‘em after the cut…
Oh, Anna, you’re like tennis gold! We’re confident about backing you when you say you’re retired, unlike some of the flip-flopping that’s been happening as of late. (What can ya do? It’s a different generation of “retirees”…)
Strut strut: Kournikova did her part as the face of K-Swiss by making a cameo at the company’s Spring/Summer 2010 fashion show last night in New York City.
Looks from the show to come.
